Re: Create A Recruit In My Dynasty!

Season 2 Week 11 Player Update

Auburn's Freshman TE Jackson Neal didn't suit up for the #5 Tigers this week, and maybe they could have used him in the big game against #9 Georgia. The Bulldogs ultimately came out on top in this one, winning the game 19-14. This is a definitely a tough loss for Auburn, but their hopes at an SEC Title aren't gone yet. With the loss, Auburn drops to 8-2 (5-1) on the season, and slips back a few spots to #11 in the BCS Rankings.

Clemson's Freshman TE Reed Briggs was once again inactive this week against #23 Florida State, but his #7 Tigers were able to come away with the huge road victory, winning 38-21. With the win, Clemson has all but locked-up the ACC Atlantic if they win out, improving to 8-1 (5-1) on the season, and moving up 1 spot to #6 in the BCS Rankings.

Kansas State's Freshman QB Cody Frank didn't play this week, but his #16 Wildcats got back to their winning ways, as they defeated Texas Tech 33-10. With the win, Kansas State improves to 6-2 (3-2) on the season, and has moved up to #14 in the most recent BCS Rankings.

Louisville's Freshman DT Merlin Fink didn't record any stats once again this week, but his #14 Cardinals were able to pick up the non-conference victory against Marshall, winning the game 48-28. With the win, Louisville has improved to 8-2 (5-1) on the season, and has risen to #12 in the BCS Rankings.

Oregon's Freshman QB Mason Post was inactive this week, but his #19 Ducks got the job done on the road, as they defeated Cal 39-36. Definitely a closer game than they would have liked, but a win is a win. With the win, Oregon is now 7-2 (4-2) on the season, and has moved up 2 spots to #17 in this week's BCS Rankings.

Penn State's Freshman WR Antoine Starks continues to sit on the sidelines this season, and boy does he wish he could have helped his team this week. The #4 Nittany Lions saw their perfect season come to an end this week, as they fell to unranked Michigan 37-34 in OT. Definitely a heartbreaker for Penn State, as they drop to 8-1 (4-1) on the season, and slide down to #9 in the BCS Rankings.

Purdue's Freshman CB Cole Campbell recorded 1 tackle (1 assisted) in the Boilermakers' heartbreaking 17-14 loss to Iowa this week. With the loss, Purdue has dropped to 4-5 (2-3) on the season, and faces an uphill battle to try and make a bowl game.

Re: Create A Recruit In My Dynasty!

Season 2 Week 12 Player Update

Clemson's Freshman TE Reed Briggs didn't play this week in his #6 Tigerss 27-24 victory over Syracuse. This game was probably closer than Clemson would have liked, but nonetheless, they improve to 9-1 (6-1) on the season, and are 1 win away from clinching a berth in the ACC Championship. Despite the win, Clemson dropped a spot to #7 in the BCS Rankings.

Kansas State's Freshman QB Cody Frank didn't get to play this week, but his #14 Wildcats were able to pull out a huge road victory over #15 West Virginia, winning the game 38-21. The win helped Kansas State move to 7-2 (4-2) on the season, and moves them up one spot to #13 in the BCS Rankings.

Louisville's Freshman DT Merlin Fink didn't have much of an impact this week, but his #12 Cardinals were able to eek out a 38-36 victor over Wake Forest to improve to 9-2 (6-1) on the season. The win helped Louisville move up to #11 in the most recent BCS Rankings.

Oregon's Freshman QB Mason Post wasn't able to see the field this week against #8 Arizona, but his #17 Ducks defended their home turf, winning the game in a shootout, 52-42. With the win, Oregon improves to 8-2 (5-2) on the season, and has jumped up to #14 in the most recent BCS Rankings.

Penn State's Freshman WR Antoine Starks was on the sidelines once again, as he watched his #9 Nittany Lions took down Ohio State on the road, winning the game 27-24. With the win, Penn State improves to 9-1 (5-1) so far this season, and has moved up one spot to #8 in the BCS Rankings.

Purdue's Freshman CB Cole Campbell had 2 tackles (1 solo, 1 assisted) in the Boilermakers' 28-19 win over Illinois this week. With the win, Purdue just needs one more victory to become bowl eligible, as they are now 5-5 (3-3) on the season.

Cole Campbell Season Stats:
18 tackles (6 solo, 12 assisted), 3 deflections, 1 INT

Re: Create A Recruit In My Dynasty!

Season 2 Week 13 Player Update

Auburn's freshman TE Jackson Neal was inactive this week, and his #10 Tigers could have used his help, as they were blown out by #17 LSU, losing the game 37-13. The loss pretty much puts an end to Auburn's SEC Title aspirations, as they fall to 8-3 (5-2) on the season, and slip to #17 in this week's BCS Rankings.

Clemson's Freshman TE Reed Briggs didn't play in his #7 Tigers' game against Boston College this week, but they took care of business nonetheless. Clemson won the game by a score of 33-17, and they have now officially punched their ticket to the ACC Championship. With the win, Clemson improves to 10-1 (7-1) on the season, and has moved up one spot to #6 in the BCS Rankings.

Kansas State's Freshman QB Cody Frank is unlikely to play this season, and he had to watch from the sidelines as his #13 Wildcats kissed their Big 12 Championship hopes goodbye with a 33-28 loss to unranked Oklahoma. With the loss, Kansas State has fallen to 7-3 (4-3) on the season, and slips to #22 in this week's BCS Rankings.

Louisville's Freshman DT Merlin Fink didn't play all that much in the #11 Cardinals final regular season game against NC State. Despite this, Louisville was able to finish the season on a strong note, winning the game 42-32 to finish the regular season at 10-2 (7-1). The win helped the Cardinals jump to #8 in the most recent BCS Rankings.

Oregon's Freshman QB Mason Post didn't play again this week, but his #14 Ducks got a big win over Colorado, winning the game 41-31. With the win, Oregon is now 9-2 (6-2) on the season, and has moved up to #11 in the BCS Rankings.

Penn State's Freshman WR Antoine Starks didn't play this week in the #8 Nittany Lions game against rival Michigan State. They could have used him in the game, as Penn State Struggled, ultimately losing to the 3-7 Spartans by a score of 34-20. This is a big loss for Penn State, as this all but ends their dreams of a Big 10 Championship. With the loss, Penn State falls to 9-2 (5-2) on the season, and tumbles down to #21 in the BCS Rankings.

Purdue's Freshman CB Cole Campbell made a big impact this week, as he recorded 1 tackle (1 solo) and snagged his second interception of the season as the Boilermakers became bowl eligible with a 44-21 victory over Minnesota. With the win, Purdue is now 6-5 (4-3) on the season.

Re: Create A Recruit In My Dynasty!

Season 2 Week 14 Player Update

Auburn's Freshman TE Jackson Neal didn't get to play for the #17 Tigers in the Iron Bowl against #1 Alabama. They probably could have used his help, as the Crimson Tide dominated this game, winning it 45-24. With the loss, Auburn drops out of the BCS Rankings, and finishes the regular season at 8-4 (5-3).

Clemson's Freshman TE Reed Briggs didn't get to play in the #6 Tigers' regular season finale, but his team got the job done, defeating rival South Carolina 44-20. With the win, Clemson has finished the regular season at 11-1 (7-1) and at #6 in the BCS Rankings. They await Virginia Tech in the ACC Championship.

Kansas State's Freshman QB Cody Frank was inactive this week, but his #22 Wildcats were able to come away with a big victory, defeating Oklahoma State 41-20. With the win, Kansas State improves to 8-3 (5-3) on the season, and has moved up to #17 in the BCS Rankings.

Oregon's Freshman QB Mason Post didn't get to play for the #11 Ducks in the Civil War against Oregon State. However, Oregon took care of business, defeating their in-state rival 38-14. With the win, Oregon finishes the regular season 10-2 (7-2) and finds themselves moving up a spot to #10 in the BCS Rankings. They now wait to hear where they will be playing their bowl game.

Penn State's Freshman WR Antoine Starks didn't play this week in the #21 Nittany Lions' final regular season game, but they didn't seem to need in this one, as they defeated Indiana 41-10. With the win, Penn State finishes the regular season at 10-2 (6-2), and moves up to #16 in the BCS Rankings. They now wait to hear where they will be headed this bowl season.

Purdue's Freshman CB Cole Campbell nearly helped his Boilermakers upset undefeated #2 Wisconsin this week, as he had 3 tackles (1 solo, 2 assisted) and a deflection. However, Purdue couldn't pull off the upset, as Wisconsin narrowly avoided defeat, winning the game 32-27. With the loss, Purdue finishes the regular season 6-6 (4-4), and awaits a bowl invitation.

Re: Create A Recruit In My Dynasty!

Season 2 Bowl Week Player Update

Auburn's Freshman TE Jackson Neal didn't see the field in the Tigers' 31-22 Cotton Bowl victory over #17 Kansas State. The win helped Auburn finish the season 9-4 (5-3), and they ended up sliding into the final Coaches Poll at #22. Jackson Neal traveled all the way from San Jose, CA to Alabama to play for the Auburn Tigers because he believed it gave him the best opportunity to succeed. I'm sure he was frustrated with the redshirt, but don't be surprised when he gets playing time in his RS Freshman season. Neal is going to be an important piece for Auburn going forward.

Clemson's Freshman TE Reed Briggs didn't get to play in the #4 Tigers' 32-25 Orange Bowl loss to #9 Washington. Clemson ends up finishing the season with a record of 12-2 (8-1) and finds themselves at #7 in the final Coaches Poll. Briggs is going to have an excellent opportunity in his RS Freshman season, as he's expected to either be 1st or 2nd on the depth chart. This definitely was a tough season for him to sit out, but Briggs is definitely going to have a chance to make an impact for the Clemson Tigers.

Kansas State's Freshman QB Cody Frank didn't see the field in the #17 Wildcats 31-22 Cotton Bowl loss to Auburn this week. With the loss, Kansas State will finish the season 9-4 (6-3) and at #24 in the final Coaches Poll. Cody Frank was definitely frustrated by his redshirt this season. While the team had success, the QB play was mediocre (and even bad) at times, and he thought that he could take the team to a different height. Depending on who stays/goes, this might be a situation where Frank could try and transfer. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised. Either way, Frank will be playing with a bit of a chip on his shoulder next season.

Louisville's Freshman DT Merlin Fink didn't play all that much in the #8 Cardinals' 35-28 loss to #12 Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl. With the loss, Louisville finishes the season at #12 in the Coaches Poll with a record of 10-3 (7-1). This definitely was an interesting season for Merlin Fink. He was thought to have shot to get some playing time this season, but didn't see the field until Week 7, where his redshirt was burned when he recorded 1 tackle in that game. Then, for the rest of the season, he was barely used. You would think Louisville would have been much better off redshirting him to get an extra year of eligibility instead of wasting his Freshman year on a 1 tackle season. Either way, Fink should be able to get more opportunities next season.

Merlin Fink Season Stats:
1 tackle (1 assisted)

Oregon's Freshman QB Mason Post didn't get to play in the #11 Ducks' 31-21 victory over Iowa State in the Alamo Bowl. With the win, Oregon finishes the season 11-2 (7-2) and at #10 in the rankings. This is one of the best seasons since Marcus Mariota and Chip Kelly left, and this Ducks team has a lot to be proud of. It'll be interesting to see what Mason Post does this coming season. He was redshirted for this season (obviously) and might still find himself as a backup next season. Will he transfer? Only time will tell for the young QB.

Penn State's Freshman WR Antoine Starks didn't see the field for the #16 Nittany Lions in the Capital One Bowl against #7 Missouri, where they ended up losing the game 30-24. Penn State finishes the season with a record of 10-3 (6-2) and finds themselves at #18 in the final Coaches Poll. Starks was redshirted this season for the Nittany Lions, due to him being buried on the depth chart. With an offseason of training, is there a chance he could see some playing time in 2018? We'll have to see. It definitely depends on who returns in the WR core of Penn State and who can improve the most. One thing is for sure, we're rooting for Antoine to see the field.

Purdue's Freshman CB Cole Campbell had 1 deflection in the Boilermakers' 26-14 Little Caesars Pizza Bowl victory over Bowling Green this week. With the win, Purdue finishes their season with a record of 7-6 (4-4). Cole Campbell had a successful season as the Boilermakers' nickel corner, and will most likely assume a bigger role in his Sophomore season.

Cole Campbell Season Stats:
22 tackles (8 solo, 14 assisted), 5 deflections, 2 INT
