Saw my first punt block

I saw my first ever punt block last week. Before y'all crucify me for what I'm about to say, don't. They were in punt block and I was in max coverage so they obviously had a numbers advantage.

That being said, I always run max coverage against the CPU so it's encouraging that there's now a possibility of it being blocked.

I do wonder if the possibility of blocking a kick is possibly tied to the kicker's awareness? I've noticed at times my punter specifically holding on to the ball for a fraction of a second longer than normal. I wonder if that is what can cause kicks to be blocked.

Has anybody tested blocked kicks before?

Thought it was pretty cool that I read this thread before playing a game today in my dynasty and I managed to block my first punt ever. Just a simple middle punt return call and a linemen broke free and blocked the punt. Wasn't really paying attention to what protection the CPU was in though. But bought the game on release night and have played ever since never gotten a blocked punt before today.

You blocked it with a normal middle return? That's wild. I wonder how sliders affect it?
