Possible Extremely Exciting Breakthrough In Uniform Editing

After trying to make things happen with uniforms in NCAA 14 with no success...I turned my attention to NCAA 12 in order to compare and contrast with Madden 12 to see if I could find something useful to take back to NCAA 14. I opened up my roster file and clicked on Uniform tab and lo and behold the entire tab was populated with zero's and slot's for every single team and all of their uni's. Whenever I see "0" that means this can be edited. So, I decided to give it a shot and I edited the CHOB (Helmet Main Color) field for Air Force and gave it a burgandy color 12845120 and saved...loaded the roster up in the game...went to play now...selected Air Force and Uniform Option's and this is what the helmet looked like. So, I'm willing to go out on a limb and say the uniforms can be edited right there in the roster! The Stadium edits also work for NCAA 12 as well...soooooooooo...I think I'm about to turn my attention to 12 for a while lol! I'm hoping this works and it sticks!!!

It's NCAA 12 and if was the CHOA field. Gonna play around some more.

So, the game is NCAA 12. The uniform tab is completely populated for every team in the game and their uniform slots. So, you can basically go under the uniform tab in your regular roster or a dynasty roster and do what you guys have been doing within your Teambuilder Dynasty files on NCAA 14. You can edit the uniforms it appears. Under the CHOA field, which according to the chart you made is "Main Helmet Color" I put the value 12845120 which is a burgundy color and it showed burgundy on the helmet. My hope is that every piece of the uniforms can be edited and if so...I think I'm done with 14 for a while lol.

I'm over here laughing so hard at myself lol!!! I picked the one team that happens to have burgandy in their custom helmet although none of their color scheme is burgandy!!! I played myself on that one lol. I've never seen Air Force with white and Burgandy helmets before. Oh well...I'll keep checking to see if these fields can actually be unlocked. Excited that they are populated.
