Do you ever throw the 4-2-5 in during certain situations?

I hardly ever blitz and I usually use the over/under 425 depending on what side of the field the ball is on. I really only blitz when I think they’re going to run and take a chance.

No it's pretty much the only one I don't use. I gave up too many big plays when I used it.

I mostly use the over/under too but I was just curious on how you might be using the NORMAL formation. But for me I love to blitz and the variety of SS and LB blitzes keeps me constantly intrigued in this defense. Also the fact my high school runs the same defense.

I hardly use the normal. Usually just inside the 5 when expecting the run I like to blitz the outside and pinch the line.

Does anyone run into specific CPU defensive playbooks that give a good challenge? I'm curious as I always found this game way too easy offensively and basically had to use sliders to the point of frustration rather getting a good challenge due to play-calling/execution. Obviously I limit my RO calls as those are just 10/pop but I find offense in general just way too easy.

There's no point in playing with 2 safeties on this game. Plays are over within a second. Even if you only rush 3 or 4 players the AI is going to complete 75% or more of it's passes every game on Heisman.
I use 4-3 and nickel and I use two safeties. Key is 90 or better speed. Great in run support and double covering. Rarely get beat deep.

The 425 gives me problems. I have trouble reading the coverage.
