Re: Hum/CPU QB Inaccuracy Find

Just played my home game (Indiana) vs Washington. Both of us ranked. Had good results I think. I started 1 for 9 due to off target throws and good plays by their DBs. Classic passing is definitely the move. Had the accuracy slider at 40 for both.

Also, did you see these changes also take place with the CPU as well?
I been testing the following settings for both User and CPU on All American in play Now games.

CLASSIC PASSING
QBA 5
WR Catch 45

The game plays different outside of practice mode.

The Accuracy Slider also helps the pass defense for both USER and CPU.

Something that crossed my mind earlier, do we know if sliders at default 50 is the setting that makes players play closest to their ratings?

I would say yes. I have gone back to default AA to get original gameplay. My theory for inaccurate passes after all my testing is that EA has defined an innacurate pass as a throw behind the receiver or one that slows him down. So, as you decrease the slider, you get the same amount of overthrows which is maybe (and Im being generous) 1 every 10 to 20 passes, but you do see the ball consistently thrown behind the receiver (but always catchable) on crossing routes or out routes.

If they are not going to increase overthrows or off target throws, I'll deal with it this year because they are yousing knockouts or swats from the DB when the ball is thrown behind the WR to decrease the completion percentages of the QB this year.

Default AA was still a nice challenge, Ive been blown out, blown out teams, had to come from behind, etc. So this level is perfect until I can read coverages better (and faster). Then back to Heisman. Then I will adjust sliders if its all too easy on Heisman or All-American if I feel like HEisman is too unrealsitic

By the @Playmakers, I tried Acc 5, CTH 45; Acc 5, CTH 40 and 30, and I would see an overthrow or 2 but I dis not see enough over throws per game. For example, I was expecting at least 1 overthow every 10 throws for a QB with 90 SAC or above. Are you seeing these things. If not, no worries, Ill stick to default AA until later

Are you guys seeing yards per completion come down as you set QB accuracy so low? I’m a CPU vs CPU player wrestling with some of the same issues, but in Madden, for example, the QBA slider sometimes seems more like a downfield throw aggression setting more than an accuracy setting. Have you experienced that with this game?

Yep I saw it last night with Ewers of Texas

I posted an updated AA set for play now mode on the last page of my thread.

You have to use those exact settings

I actually had catch at 45 but raised it to 50 because the Wr's catch in traffic ratings for CPU helped them out more

The overall feel for the game is going to move really smooth

I will definitely try the 5 and 45 in my dynasty games moving forward on classic passing. Thanks for the info

On another note, once I went back to default All American, I started to see overthrows by the CPU QB lol, but still none from my Human Qb and I was using revamped.

And on another note, I'm absolutely loving the game regardless of if I finally get what I want with playmakers recommendation or not. They did a fantastic job with this game and of course there's room for improvement, but I'm very impressed by what was done with college football 25
