Notice how the low tackle slider effects the CPU vision on the field

They become more elusive and see openings much better

I only looked at 2 plays before the notes came out and instantly knew angles were better. Now I just hope they aren't NFL level good.

But glad they were tweaked.

Now I gotta restart these 2 dynasties lol

I haven't had a chance to read through the notes yet.

But based on the ratings for CPU running game to be efficient and average around 5 yards per carry which is college football averages we should be using the avg run block ratings of the top OL players at each positions. Then find the lowest tackle rating

This will help the CPU guys sustain blocks on the same level as the User OL does.....

USER has a huge advantage over CPU OL in terms of getting movement up front that is why running is so easy on All Levels.

I started working with this base

CPU Run Block 95
Ball Security 45

USER Tackle 20 or 25

So ball security staying at 45 helps to keep the break tackles normal vs that tackle slider.

The run blocking at 95 helps them to use their vision to find the hole equal to a USER player now and then their truck. Juke and spin moves are unlocked by their matchup with the User Defender tackle ratings.

Also you can set the USER tackle to conservative under Coaching options to make sure your guys are wrapping up the ball carrier and not going for the big hits.

I did this in madden all the time with coaching options....

I play more games later tonight and hopefully the update helps to really bring out those settings

I've decided to give these sliders a go tonight.

I've been running Armor's for dozens of games, and while very good, I'm not at all happy with the running game. Especially the user. It's just too easy--I can rack up 150-200 yards a game on the ground with Purude or UCLA against Oh State or Michigan. That just ruins the flow of the game if I know I can get 5-8 yards per carry, pretty much every drive.

This set is currently using run block at 20

And to be honest that may get lowered down even more after I do some testing tonight

Patch notes look good

Pursuit angles seems like the best update in regards to gameplay.

Haven't tested it yet

Passing game seems pretty well balanced already. The coverage sliders up high really do a good job of stopping either side turning into robo qb

No more dudes just running free all the time and accuracy isn't perfect on every pass.

CPU run game should be vastly improved and challenging after next update.

Human running game should be better contained but still rewarding if you setup blocks
