J.J. Arrington of Cal.

That man was a straight BEAST! Marshawn will do good as the starter this year.

a qb, me , i created him and recruited him out of ohio for osu, he was like 95 in both passing cat.'s, had 85 speed, well he ended uppasssing for a career ovr 20,000 passing yards and in one season had 6,500 yards and over 150 touchdowns and one season 55(can't remember, think the senior seasons)
well acourse with those numbers he won qb of the year, player of the year, hiesman four years in a row

he is still my only player to win 4 hiesmans

Dontrell Morre back in ncaa 2004, he was a SOPHMORE... won 3 STRAIGHT heismans with him... surprised he stayed all three years... ended up being rated 97 overall. By far my best athlete

Re: A thread to kill time...You're best NCAA Dynasty players

I had two great ones, back to back at UConn.

Both scrambling QB's, Julius Tavares and Marcus Durham.

Tavares came first as a lowly-touted three-star recruit after the Dan Orlovsky era ended, started as a freshman and took us right to the nat'l title game before getting worked by FSU. Then soph. and jr. year he lead us to undefeated seasons and 2 championships. He didn't have great arm power, was undersized (5'11, 190 lbs) but was accurate as hell and his speed (85) got us out of most bad messes. For some reason, I never made bad decisions with him. He had already blow away every passing record at UConn before his senior year. Countless comeback wins, jawdropping plays, etc.

After his junior season, I had just about wrapped up recruiting when I saw the #1 QB in the country was still unsigned with a week left. I put all my points into getting him, and wha-laa, next week I had the nation's #1 overall prospect. Marcus Durham was 6'3" 225lbs with a cannon and speed that bested Tavares. Durham was an 85 overall as a true frosh, so I redshirted him. Tavares was a 91. Then, first game of his senior year he breaks his leg and is out for 15 weeks.

In the midst of a terrible game, we were losing 27-7 to BC going into the 4th quarter. Our 20+ game winning streak was on the line. So I figured what the hell, let's throw Durham in, even if it's gonna cost him his redshirt status. So Durham comes in and DESTROYS the BC defense. He threw for over 200 yards in the 4th quarter and 2 touchdowns, and 1 rushing TD. I won 28-27, and Durham had the starting job.

I sat at 11-0 and ranked #1 going into the nat'l title game, when all of a sudden Tavares was healthy again. The kid who had let me to back-to-back titles was heathly enough to play in the LAST game of his college career. I decided to put him in over the phenom, and Tavares struggled in the first half with 3 INT's and I trailed 24-14 at the half. Sadly, I had to put in Durham who indeed led me to a comeback win 42-27 and my third straight title.

Tavares went on to get drafted by me in like the 5th round in Madden and never came close to making it. As for Durham, he stayed at Storrs for his final two seasons and never lost a college game, going somewhere around 35-0.

Though I had better success with Durham, I was def a bigger fan of Tavares.

Re: A thread to kill time...You're best NCAA Dynasty players

When I was a FAU, I recruited a 2 star RB names Scooter Gavin. He was a 235 power RB who just happened to run a 4.2. He benched around 400 and squatted close to 600 pounds. I have no idea how he was only a 2 star but I put every point I could into him and got him on the 3rd week.

He came in as a 78 rated RB with 95 speed and 75 strenght. He never won the Heisman, or anything like that, but he was the turning point for my 1 star FAU team that ended up winning the NC in 2015.

Re: A thread to kill time...You're best NCAA Dynasty players

Fred Day, the quarterback that dominated in my Auburn dynasty. To start off, the background of the dynasty matters somewhat. After winning the national championship my first year, I proceded to slump. Two or three 7-4 seasons, a few 8-3 seasons, and a 6-5 highlighted the next 8 or so years. Also during this time, I lost to Jawja pretty much every year, as they became the dominate SEC power. Then came Fred Day.

A five star quarterback, he turned all of it around. With about 84 speed, he ran through, around, and he could pass a bit too. He won 3 straight QB of the year, a Heisman his junior season, and led us to a national championship his junior season before bolting to the NFL.
