Slowdown on XBox?

I've had a PS2 for years and never thought I would have the need to buy an XBox (at least until the next generation comes out). However, I'm noticing significant slowdown on probably 50% of my plays. I've only played at Kyle Field, so that could be part of the problem --- but it's still unacceptable for EA to release this to production.

I'm considering buying an XBox. My questions:

1) Has anyone at all noticed a slowdown on XBox this year for 2006?

2) For others who've "migrated" from PS2 to XBox, how hard was it adjusting to the new controller?

Same here, I see a VERY little slowdown. AS for the Ps2 vs Xbox goes, I am in the same boat as you. I have read about slowdown on Ps2 while others say its not there. This is the first football game I have bought for my Xbox and I must say, I am having trouble adjusting to the speed of the game and the controller. I mean, the white and black buttons are rarley used but its something else. I am not sure what though. I debated about picking up the ps2 copy and returning this one (walmart said it was Ok LOL) but I just don't know.

I bought MVP for the ps2 first b/c I know more friends locally that play on ps2, well it was the first EA game I bought since I got my new tv (34' WS HDTV) Needless to say, I thought MVP looked like total crap (even with component cables and 480p enable) The game didn't appear to support widescreen. So I bought it for the box and was extremely happy. I have yet to hear to much on the ps2 and widescreen and how NCAA looks or if it even supports WS and looks all stretched like MVP. I really hate to take this back for ps2 copy only to be even more disapointed!

I haven't seen a lick of slowdown yet. I also vacuumed my Xbox right before I got NCAA so it'll run smoother.

I have the PS2 version and am noticing slowdown as well. Last year, I bought the Xbox version and the slowdown was horrendous so I returned it for the PS2 version swearing never to go back. Did the PS2 version get the slowdown this year or do they both have problems?

I haven't notice any slowdown on the xbox, but the graphics seem very dark.

I have noticed this as well.
