How Do I Run /Scramble With QB on Xbox?

I am a first time player of the series and I keep getting killed by the DL pass rush. I have pressed every button on the Xbox controller and cannot figure out how to run or scramble. I apologize if this has been answred already.

assuming your setup has (QUICK), after the snap just hold down A (XBOX)

Hey, this isn't seeming to work for me. If I press A, it throws to the A player, which is a TE. I have no clue how to just take off and scramble, rather the QB just strafes around until I throw or am sacked. I know in 06, you press a button (can't remember which), but this isn't working and I'm wondering if someone else knows how to do it.

I'm referring to NCAA 05, on Xbox. If anyone else has any idea, I would really appreciate it. Have to play this until 06 arrives from eBay.

Press the sprint (RT) button to take off.
