As texas' Off.C, Davis is simply mistified with the game now that Vine Young has graduated. This would explain the lack of any offensive cohesivenes. At least I hope so, having constant trouble trying to find someone on xbox live to play madden w/out the ever present onside kicks/20yd drop backs/no huddle all the time gets old. I really don't want that to screw up NCAA on xbox live.

(sarcasm disclaimer: I actually have no idea as to who's behind the controller for Texas on the xbox360. Greg Davis, the Texas Off.C, and the Texas coaching staff in general have been under pressure in the past due to horrific offensive showings in the OU texas game. Obviously, last year -which I officially refuse to acknowledge and not just for the texas game but for the first 3/4 of the season - was a different story.)

C'mon guys, its not like the 2 players were playing for money, blood, or women. Its not thunderdome- 2 men start game, 1 man leaves.

They were just playing so they could put the video up. Whos to say if it wasnt accidental or if they didnt even care?

A real game of NCAA online or offline, and yeah, it would be strange to decline that penalty.

They weren't playing for their own amusement, they were playing to give us a feel for what the game is like. The OU guy was a little pass happy, but at least he ran a variety of plays.

Mr. UT ran a total of four off. plays (incl. going for it on 4th and long deep in his own territory). Three of his plays were of the the "roll out and heave it way down the field" variety. About all we could glean from his time with the ball is that throwing into double coverage ain't a real good idea. Not exactly a revelation.

In order to be useful, we need to see movies that show the game when played with a modicum of skill. The OU guy did that, the UT guy didn't.

Well you might want to "forget" we won the NC too, but let me tell you, the blue chip high school football players in TX and around the nation remember very clearly about what happened in Jan vs USC and in Oct against ousux. It would be a good idea though to keep living in the past, cause the streak is over and we're about to start our own...

I wish all of the stadiums were in there, but if the team had to prioritize because of time constraints I would hope they would focus on home stadiums rather than bowl and neutral site fields that are used less frequently.

We have so much talent at every other position, I could QB this team to beat ousux this year...I hope everyone else thinks that we won't be anything w/o Vince this year, they will be in for a rude awakening.
