Re: Where is the pre-game?

You guys are missing the point. You are seeing the pregame. The stadiums are the star, not the players. Madden's pre-game intros were lame. My guess is that the team decided to focus around the stadiums as the temples of football. Remember this is based on the Madden 360 game, not NCAA 06. There's only going to be so much improvement from that game. And on the point of the whole GEE WOW! of the top 70 stadiums being recreated, they did the same treatment on the NFL stadiums, too.

All that said, I can't wait for this game. I know what it'll be be and what it won't. I'm a huge lifelong Michigan fan. I love the banner touching and the ugly helmets. If the helmets are a little off and they don't run out and jump and touch the banner, OK. This game is going to be the bomb anyway. As long as I get "Hail to the Victors" and good gameplay, I'm stoked! It would be nice to have the pep band playing bullwinkle, though......

Re: Where is the pre-game?

Im pretty much the same way, The huskers didnt get there new video screen and boxes, There isnt a whole lot to this game, we dont get the espn mag. or anything like that, and probably no entrances but that is EA, and we have to face it until they have a rival out there, but i dont know if we will ever see that. Now that they know they can do what ever they want and still sell the game, there is no stoping them. (this isnt a EA bashing post either) i have always bought ea games, now i just dont have a choice if i didnt want to.

Re: Where is the pre-game?

These sites are cutting part of the pregame because rarely have i even seen the user pick his kickoff plays. Why would you show the whole intro but not the kickoff choice shown, if that was the case? I personally think they are just cutting out the same old pre game we have always seen or EA didn't add that to the beta kits. Something is there though.

Explain why these sites (these sites being every single one that has covered NCAA 07) would do the exact same cut job to their videos?

What you've seen is what your getting, you can count on that.

Dude, you're naive. Gamespot, IGN, and teamXBox were given the dummy copy.

Re: Where is the pre-game?

I highly doubt there will be a pregame or camera angles. The most complete game of NCAA07 will be on the Xbox. I have a feeling that the 360 version will be a bit better than Madden360. But it will still be without all the bells and whistles of it last gen cousin.

They don't do the exact same cut job. some show moreof the stadium, some show the kickoff selection and some don't, some show the coke coin flip and some don't. If the pregame is just the stadium shot and the coin flip, so be it, just seems something is edited or not on the beta is all i am saying.
