That list posted in this thread was wrong, from what i see. The link on EAsports is whats correct, and they seem a bit off.......

1. Auburn was bumped significantly from an 84 overall to an 89 overall with a 5 point increase on D (well deserved).

2. Florida State dropped BIG TIME on offense to a 79 (also MUCH more accurate than that ridiculous 90+ rating).

3. South Carolina was brought down a tad....good.

4. Florida's RIDICULOUS 94 rating on defense was reduced to a much more realistic 88 rating.

There are more..but those jumped out at me.

I still feel Georgia and Ohio State are ludicrously rated. But overall...much better looking IMO from the Beta Team ratings Steve posted.
EA keeps surprising me, I like it

Southern Cal 95 91 99
Oklahoma 94 96 92......

I think those ratings based on the "I thought:" that he put in there were his own opinion.

Which is kind of impressive that he took the time to do the ratings for all 1A teams....

Amazing to me how Utah has a top 20 defense last year, but is rated with the 96th best defense in this game. Yeah, that makes sense.

Edit: HOLY HELL!!!!! THEY CHANGED IT!!! AUBURN IS NOW AN 89 WITH A 92 ON DEFENSE!!!! WOO HOO!!!! Buuuut...it should still be higher. Best D in the SEC returning 8 starters...has to be a 96 or so. But it's a hell of a lot better than that 87 crap they had.
according to the list on here, LSU has the best defense in the SEC!

Utah played in the Mountain West. It makes no sense to use their defensive stats against other teams that played much tougher schedules. Team rankings are fairly useless in college football due to the SOS. Conference rankings are far better to use.

Utah is tied for the 5th best defensive ranking in the Mountain West in NCAA '09. San Diego St. is ranked first with an 80 ranking. If you want to complain about that fine but where do you think Utah should rank when comparing them to the entire country or their own conference?
