I understand. I don't like it either, but if that is the only way I can get the cpu to get consistent yards per rush, then I do it.

Well, for gameplay before this year's iteration of NCAA '09, my house rules were ALWAYS.

- Control one defender the entire time on defense, usually a DE.
- Throw one deep ball per half versus CPU on offense.
- Never call the same play twice, either on offense/defense.
- Never user-catch/pick, either on offense/defense.

For this year, I had to add ...

- Super-sim kick/punt returns.

2. No throwing to the ''LB'' button, ever.
3. Let CPU run for human controlled running backs.
4. Limit all screens.
5. Limit any passes over the middle.
6. Limit any QB scrambles to the outside.

Non for me. Playing on 6 minute quarters, All American, Weather Channel Feed on, and Default sliders. Having a great time playing offline against the A.I. and friends. For me the issues are not gamekillers, just a bit annoying. Since I stopped trying to attempt to make these games as sim as possible and play it for what it is; having a great time. You all should try it, my stress has been reduced since this decision, lol.
