My game froze last night........

WTF!!!!!

I've had 4 freezes in menu mode while changing sliders. I deleted all my pics/vid/roster file and it's STILL doing this. I've never had a freeze problem EVER until today. I have a Elite that I got last summer so I doubt it's my system.

What's going on here? I've had this game since release day. This just started today and I can't even play a game! I played last night fine but can't now.

I'm beginning to wonder, with all of these freezes, if it could be a problem with the disk. I play on an 360 Elite with more than enough memory to hold all the pics and vids my heart desires. Why would that be an issue? I know the 360 in general runs hot. I wonder if the heat from the system could somehow affect the disk.

Saying that, as I've said before in other post, I haven't had a problem since I cleared most of my saves related to this game. But that hasn't helped others. I would like to know how many of these freezes are on the 360 and how many are on the PS3. I don't know how hot the sony runs, but like I said 360 runs hot as hell.

A couple of people have been able to fix the issue by not having the game in the 360 when you boot it. So power on the 360, then wait until it gets to the dashboard (where you can select "open tray), then put the game in.

IMO this sounds like a drive issue, as I highly doubt that EA tested this game on all 3 (or maybe more) drives for the 360.

As far as the RROD, it's possible for the game to cause it...but that's a whole other can of worms...

If your playing this on 360...then it just might be your consoles time to go...if you have ever seen the inside of a 360 and have a moderate amount of technical computing logic...then you know the system is just not designed to last very long...

I heard this once so I don't know if it's true but it makes sense to me since I've had problems with every EA sports game I've played but I heard EA uses cheaper discs than most companies so they have more problems with the discs. EA sports games have given me nothing but problems on the 360 for awhile. NHL was basically unplayable for me since almost every time I played it would freeze after only 1 or 2 games. I've never gotten the red lights but I still think my XBox is partially to blame as well. Seems to me like it makes way to many weird griding sounds all the time.

I've had one freeze. After the game ends while loading back to the dynasty screen. Just got my xbox 360 back from repair about two weeks ago.

mine freezes 90% of the time at the advance week screen after I have played my game. Really annoying I hope I dont have the same problem with Madden bc none of my other games freeze that i know of
