Teambuilder - How do I get rid of the white around logos?

I saved my logo as a jpg file and uploaded it, but there is still the white around the logo from where I copied and pasted it off a website....The white still shows up on the helmets/field etc. How do I remove it so only the logo shows?

By using Photoshop or GIMP to erase the background and saving it as a PNG or GIF file

Re: Teambuilder - How do I get rid of the white around logos?

You need to use something that isn't MSpaint and save the file in a format that allows transparency. The end file should be a 256 color PNG format with one pallet entry set as transparent. How to achieve that is going to vary depending on whether you're using GIMP, or Photoshop or Paintshop Pro or any other programs.

Or you could post it in the CAS Logo thread and hope someone will do it for you.

search the forums for the GIMP walkthrough. That should show you how, or at least give you enough information to do it yourself.

You need to save the files as a PNG. This will allow you to keep the transparent background.

Also, if you haven't made it already so that the image has the transparent background, then you'll need to remove the background in photoshop, GIMP, or something similar.

go to the official team builder logos forum and add a picture of what you want and ask someone to make it transparent for you, there are plenty of people willing to help, thats how i did it and i got my logo in about 5 minutes
