3-3-5 bc Michigan will run a variation this season plus most people online pass 95% of the time anyway

In past games I've always run a 4-3. In '09 I struggled with the 4-3 so I tried the 3-3-5 and I've fallen in love with it. I like the fact that I can rush 4 or 5 (or more) on any given play, but that 4th and 5th guy can be coming from anywhere on the field. I pretend that it can fool the defense, but since I only play against the CPU on Heisman, I know it doesn't really matter, but I like to think it does.

I originally ran the 4-3, but after about 13 years in our online dynasty, I was recruiting a ton of great safeties, and just couldn't match their level with any DTs, so I went ahead and switched to the 3-3-5 for the remaining 6 years of the dynasty, and it worked great. Absolutely loved the way it worked.

Well i run alot with the online dynasty so i like to build my defensive secondary very fast regardless of the player's OVR rating

With that being said, i find that running with a Multiple-D playbook works well. I start off running a QUARTERS defense with 7 of the fastest defensive players i have on the field. I usually audible from there into MAN ALIGN or PRESS coverage and shift my D-Line to the strong side of the field. This package usually works well against run because i have DB flying immediatly to the ball and if the first defender misses then he already slowed the runner down enough for others to come and clean up. It is very effective against the pass and... FOR ME ATLEAST, averaged my online dynasty teams atleast 40 picks a season over a 5 year duration

if that Coverage isnt working against the run, than i change my formation to the 1-5-5 (i think?) package out of the nickle and blitz 4 linebackers to stop the run.... and when my opponent catches on that he cant run, i duisguise a cover 3 out of that formation which is about 85% effective against the pass
