If the game from the competitor was garbage, then I wouldn't buy it. The bottom line is that I am not going to give my money to any company that produces crap (well, maybe if I have to fertilize my yard). Therefore, like DaThrone, EA ain't getting my money this year. If Sega, Atari, Activision, etc. made a crap football game, I wouldn't buy that one either.

Guys, I am very sorry for the confusing thread. It was early in the morning and the brain was not "firing on all cylinders"

The point of this thread is pertaining to the exclusive license that EA now has to our beloved college football. We have to buy NCAA because we have no other alternatives. EA and the NCAA are responsible for organizing a monopoly, in a sense, on sports gaming.

My belief is that if that exclusive deal did not exist, we would have a better alternative to NCAA.

How many years has EA been developing college football games?

I do own MLB2k9 on PC and enjoy it, never played 2k8. I will buy backbreak, madden 10, and NCAA10. I have play previous 2k football titles and have an idea of how the next one will play based on history, so yes I do have an idea. Accept my comments as a difference of opinion and not the big bad B word! Regardless yes probably a pointless thread as I am sure there are a hundred similar thread relating to the exclusive license.

I think I would definitely be buying NCAA 2010 from EA if there was competition because the game would be WORLDS BETTER if there was.

To be honest I think the only reason Madden is seeing improvement is because of one man's vision (Ian Cummings). If not for him I'm sure Madden would be stagnating as well and EA would still be raking in the cash and not giving a crap.

My wish is to see Ian come over to the NCAA series starting next year to fix the mess that the current devs have made of it!!

Ive put up with this for 2 yrs now, and there is absolutely NO WAY I spend my Money on this version of College Football.
