NCAA 2010- Biggest homer game of all time

EA sports does it again. Let’s post examples of how EA sports is homering it up. I’ll go first.

Online dynasty

Year 3 - After 2 seasons of 9-3, Penn State is 4-4 and somehow ranked 25 and they still are a 6 star prestige program.

Year 3 - FSU goes 9-3 with a loss in a bowl game (does not win the conference) and does not drop it’s 6th star. While Colorado who is 5 star right now, goes 11-1 with a loss during the season and can’t get the 6th star.

ND- Are they a perma 6 star prestige team? I’ve had them at 6-6 season to not even drop a star.

Continue.

1-2 bad seasons don't lower a schools prestige in real life so I don't know how fast they should raise or lower in the game. Look at Notre Dame it is still a prime coaching job.

Agreed, this game increases and decreases prestige far too quickly. You can take a 1 star to 6 star in 5 seasons. Never going to happen in 2 decades in college football.

Actually, I have one right now in an OD I am in. PSU (user) went 9-3 (3rd in Big10), is inside the top 10, and is playing in a BCS Bowl. Meanwhile Minnesota (user) is 10-2 (2nd in Big10) and is ranked in the high teens, and got stiffed to the Cap1 bowl. EA can't even get the BCS qualifying correct. 10 wins.

Apparently this'll be a monthly topic for RU_goo. He posted essentially the same thread 1 month ago almost to the day.

Most people there disagreed with him so I guess he's starting it up again.

Re: NCAA 2010- Biggest homer game of all time

I will go ahead and disagree with you. Recruiting and prestige is based on real life and where kids would actually want to go to college. Warm schools and prestigious. Do a teambuilder with two teams put one in Florida and put one in Wisconsin. You might win every game with both but I guarentee Florida gets more interest. I will go to Florida. Give me warmth and prestige.
