Dreads
According to NCAA Football 11 on Wikipedia, dreads are going to be in this years game along with these other features:

  • New momentum-based locomotion engine, creating more realistic movement
  • Dual-stick controls
  • Team-specific entrances
  • Real Assignment AI, new blocking system
  • Helmet numbers for teams such as Alabama.
  • On-field referees
  • Pro-Tak gang tackling (Introduced in Madden NFL 10)
  • Auto-saves
  • Dreads
  • Formation substitutions (Introduced in Madden NFL 09)
  • New equipment such as helmets, towels, hand warmers, sleeves, and knee braces[2]
  • Dynamic conference logos (for Team Builder play and Custom Conferences)
  • Auto load rosters
  • Single bowl season (for Online Dynasty play)
  • New team mascots such as Stanford's Tree, Texas Tech's Raider Red, and Oregon's Donald Duck.[3]
  • Improved lighting.[4]
  • ESPN style presentation[5]
  • Updated In-Game UI

Really hope that isn't all they update. If Madden or NCAA don't improve the offseason modes I don't think I'll buy them.
