Re: The official 2011 progression thread

Actually looking at the rosters of the teams who are "B+" Overall may shed some light on the situation. The formula/methodology EA uses to calculate Overalls has always seemed a little nebulous.

If the Top teams have around four or five 90 rated players, and most teams have one or none, then that would be perfect to me, regardless of what the Overall indicates. In my opinion if you have more then four 90 rated players then that makes you an "A" team.

The player ratings seem to be trending in an acceptable manner, so I'm not concerned by the lack of officially recognized "A" teams.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

2016

Year 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016
99 0 9 4 1 0 2 4
98 1 8 3 1 0 1 1
95 -97 40 32 34 9 6 13 10
91-94
70+ 70+ 37 47 50 40
87-90
70+ 70+ 70+ 70+ 70+ 70+

4 99's, a great number in my opinion. 1 98, healthy number of mid 90s, and the low 90's dropped by 10 but this is fine as they're a reasonable number. whats important here is thteres no drastic drop off or ballooning.

Year 2010 2013 2014 2015 2016
A 12 1 0 0 0
B 55 23 22 19 19
C 35 49 56 44 50

Still no A teams and since this is 2016 with all teams being generated and progressed from fresh... this leads me to believe A teams will be rare.

Some more detailed info. These are all generated players mind you fully progressed by 6 years, no default rosters players remain.

92 ranked junior and senior outside LB's
2 90 and 2 88 junior CBS, no seniors that high

Re: The official 2011 progression thread

Thanks for the info White Out, this is great stuff, I like the number of 90's players, and hopefully the lack of A rated teams won't really affect how everything turns out.

Re: The official 2011 progression thread

Actually i just want to ask one more thing... I feel stupid for not asking earlier, are the traditional power teams still the highest rated teams for the most part, and also, because i just realized that if the raitings overall dropped, it doesn't matter as long as it's in proportion and there's still High Tier teams, Mid Tier and Low Tier, it will still work out the same. So is there some distance in ratings between the highest rated team and an average team?
