Dude, I absolutely get it. Go ahead and run it. Send video if it is different on yours, but there was no seperation at all on mine.

Re: Wow, shocking NCAA test results

My 99/99 guy ran a 40 in 4.4 and my 99/63 guy ran it in 4.7. Not hard to do this man.

Edit: for added hilarity my 99/1 guy ran a 5.4. Aaaaand my 99/33 runs a 5 flat. So yes acceleration does matter and I don't even need to get into the physics of holding a stopwatch in your right hand and a controller in your left. Don't need a degree in rocket science for that.

360, All-American, Normal, and threshold at 50. You need to have the guys run from a stand still. This is freshman science class man. Didn't you ever have to drop marbles down a chute?

Re: Wow, shocking NCAA test results

mmorg,

We will have to agree to disagree. All I know is on my 360 at fast game speed with 99 speed and a 99 ACC from a running start, there was no difference in 40. Now that has been explained why that may be, but what I cannot explain is why there is no seperation in the wr test. This thread has taken a different direction. My original point was a college player cannot run a 3.4 40 with pads on, even from a running start. I would be surprised if Bolt could even get close. If you want realistic player speeds, play on slow. I am now enjoying fast with truer speeds and feel free to enjoy it whatever way you choose, too.

Thanks for testing this out, I was positive acceleration was working brilliantly in this game. This thread had me doubting that for a moment.

Good luck getting even close to accurate times with the takeoff. I timed every speed rating 99-25 5 times and took an average.

Ben,

Try the wr test and see how yours looks. Run 4-wide hail mary, all 4 wr 99 speeds, but 100, 75, 50, 0 acc, put the 0 next to the 100 and on my system I could see no seperation even in replay.
