I don't think you can do it exactly, because you have to switch out teams, you can't just add one (like Nebraska to the Big Ten).

You'd have to put Colorado and Utah in the Pac-10, but take out 2 teams that are already there (Pac-12 in real life).

Correct. You won't get it to be exact no matter what. You can try but you'll have some really weird conference set-ups because you can only have 10 teams in the Pac-10, 11 for the Big 10 when both will have 12 next year.

I'd say just don't worry about it, next year's game will have those conferences. This game was developed well before all that conference mumbo jumbo started so getting each conference precise is impossible.

But...I'd say if you're going to put Utah and Colorado in the Pac, take out the Arizona teams and put them somewhere else(WAC, MWC maybe)
Move Nebraska in for Iowa. It's a long list of swapping that I don't really want to get into. If you search around, there's been some threads about this and there have been some good conference set-ups people have come up with.

Re: Looking For New Conferences For Xbox 360

I started a couple of dynasties recently where I tried to recreate the upcoming changes as best as I could. There's definitely no perfect way or even particularly good way to do it though. For instance, here's what I did:

ACC:
Keep exactly the same

Big East (Essentially becomes WAC):
Idaho
Louisiana Tech
New Mexico
New Mexico State
San Jose State
Tulane
Utah State
Wyoming

Big XII (Becomes Pac-12)
North
Cal
Oregon
Oregon State
Stanford
Washington
Washington State
South
Arizona
Arizona State
Colorado
UCLA
USC
Utah

Big Ten (Becomes C-USA)
ECU
Houston
Marshall
Memphis
Rice
SMU
Southern Miss
Tulsa
UAB
UCF
UTEP

C-USA (Becomes Big Ten/12)
East
Illinois
Indiana
Ohio State
Penn State
Purdue
Wisconsin
West
Iowa
Michigan
Michigan State
Minnesota
Nebraska
Northwestern

Independents
Same

MAC
Same

Mountain West
Air Force
Boise State
BYU
Colorado State
Fresno State
Hawaii
Nevada
San Diego State
UNLV

Pac-10 (Equivalent of future Big XII)
Baylor
Iowa State
Kansas
Kansas State
Missouri
Oklahoma
Oklahoma State
Texas
Texas A&M
Texas Tech

SEC
Same

Sun Belt
Same

WAC (Future Big East)
Cincinnati
Connecticut
Louisville
Pitt
Rutgers
Syracuse
TCU
USF
West Virginia

Like I said, it's not perfect. It totally messes up bowl bid for one (Bizarro C-USA and WAC get BCS bids). But hopefully some of these Big East (now in WAC) and Big Ten (now in C-USA) teams can make the big bowls on the strength of their schedules, which has happened in other realignments I've done.

I don't like that system because it messes with automatic BCS bids. I have one that maintains the BCS bids, but changes bowl alignments/conference names.

You can find what I did here.
