is this cheese

is it me or is press and blitz the new exploit that everyone online uses. pressing every play is totally unrealistic. there is no risk/reward factor in pressing, so users just press and blitz behind it. its a cheap tactic to me. let me know is that a bit cheesy. also is non sim to only use ask corso the whole game and/or only run about 10 plays the whole game.

Re: is this cheese

There is a risk/reward for pressing.

Risk is if their defenders have weak press ratings, they will get burnt on deep routes. The reward is that if their defenders have high press ratings, it will delay the timing on slants and drag routes.

That is why people do it. People been using press and blitz for the pass 15 years in tournaments. Not cheese at all because it is easily beatable.

Re: is this cheese

i guess. just seems like a cheesy tactic if you do the same thing over and over, especially if its ridiculously over effective.

Re: is this cheese

I don't know, it seems like the majority of the time I call press my corners get smoked, regardless of how good the receiver is.

But, it's not ridiculously over effective... I can usually beat it with a well-timed pass.

Re: is this cheese

Like the other guys said, people have been doing this online for years. I normally keep my backs in to block and send my fastest WR (AJ Green!) on a fly. Big money.

Re: is this cheese

If they keep doing it, then run deep routes. Like others have said, one time you'll eventually get by the DB and get that easy TD pass.
