ok im going with standard default with game mode off...im trying to decide if i should have hdmi level LOW or NORMAL, also should i have 120hz on standard, smooth, or clear, should my black tone be off, dark, darker, darkest, and finallywhat should my dynamic contrast be, off, low, medium, or high

Re: Samsung TV Owners, Are Yall Playing On Standard or Dynamic?

Just got this monitor.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824001381

SAMSUNG P2370HD-1 Black 23" 5ms HDMI Widescreen LCD HDTV Monitor 300 cd/m2 DC 50,000:1

I'm considering moving my Xbox up to my room and putting it on this instead of our old big screen. Are the settings the same from monitors to tv's? (has a tv tuner so it should be the same right?) I'm just looking for the best possible look, I can tinker if someone wants to just get me started.

Re: Samsung TV Owners, Are Yall Playing On Standard or Dynamic?

I figure I'd throw this one in here aswell.....Does anyone know if playing with the "smooth or precision motion" on make the game play better?

My tv has the 480hz (240hz really) but was wondering if it effect the gameplay at all....Guess I could try it on both on/off in the demo, but was wondering if it was a proven fact either way.

I always have it on set to high cause I like the way it looks in the cutscense and replays but I notice that the gameplay feels jittery at times.....could that just be the game itself?

(off topic: wonder if it effects 1st person shooters aswell)

You are crushing black levels and killing shadow details

You are killing the game with those settings. That is adding major processing to a video game. Input lag will make your experience a faulty one. Leave that veal alone
