Haven't ever seen one and there have been quite a few throws that were just out of reach that a dive would have made a ton of sense instead of just letting the ball fall. Even one last night as VaTech.

Pretty hard to do but if you press x on an overthrown ball it will do a diving catch. I have done quite a lot so far and very cool catch animations.

Good to know. I thought Y would trigger all catch animations

me too...gonna have to try this tonight. if its only manually triggered...that kinda sucks that those who dont manual catch and will just have to deal with overthrows that are def playable.

And it is pretty hard to do so I'd go to pactice and try it first it's all about timing. so good luck lol

I have had two of them. Both with Texas Tech, and with both I hit X to dive.

I have seen some jaw droppers. Very cool. And I am glad they do not occur often. It makes it exciting and special when they do happen.

I have had my guys (UMia) catch 2 in 9 games and they were dozzies. Totally stretching out in the endzone for both of them. One was Lyron Byrd and the other was Aldarius Johnson. Sick grabs.

The feature added this year was the ability to manual trigger a diving catch. Any element of CPU players diving or not diving is not a part of the enhancement.
