But ask yourselves this. If he was playing as a real life no huddle team, would anyone have an issue with it? I would have to say no. But because it was USC, there is an issue? He is the coach and can change the style and plaay to however he wishes.

Cheese is painted with too broad a brush. To me cheesing is only running money plays that take advantage of some AI glitch. There is no amount of scheming or playcalling in ANY way that is cheesing (assuming again it's not just exploiting some AI glitch). Just because someone does something unorthodox, calls very few plays, runs hurry up twice in a row blah blah. None of that is cheesing because it can be stopped. If someone comes out in 5-2 when the other guy is lining up in 5-wide he's being smart by hurrying back up to the line.

Its a formation where your two Tackles will line up as far out as wideouts. Look at Mizzou's playbook and it is under the shotgun formations.

South Carolina has a Emory Henry under their Ace- Big formation. Unique to their playbook.

But I have always thought this... People call stuff like this cheese... Well... I bet Air Raid and Run N' Shoot offenses were considered "cheese". ... People probably thought the Blitz was cheesing too. (both on the football field and on the battlefield) Just saying.. It may not be cheese, just a new school of thought. But as long as it doesnt abuse an AI glitch, like the above poster said, then I think its fine.

P.S. Why do we call it "cheese" anyways? I love cheese. Especially Mozzarella.

Oh ok. I saw a video on that once. It was called the A11 though. I looked to see if it was possible to run in NCAA 12 but found nothing on the A11. Only that it's actually illegal to use outside of punting/kicking situations.(a.k.a not every down)
