Switching to another Confrence?

Yes but unfortunately one can not completely disband a conference. So you can put whatever team you want in to whatever conference as long as these are followed.

1. Conferences can have no more than 16 teams
2. Each conference has to have a minimum of 4 teams
3. There must be at least one team as an independent

Well as of right now, no conference is disbanding...so your good to make all the switches.

After the season there is a conference part where you can move teams around.

since there is some expertise on this topic, can somebody tell me if I move a team like the Sooners to the ACC will that increase that conference's prestige rating? I assume it will but havent tried yet and wasnt sure if this was something that was 'broken'...will they keep thier same rivalries/pipelines too?

No the rating is static. You can switch the MAC with the SEC and the SEC will stay at a A+ and the MAC will be a D+ even with all the SEC teams in it.
