How to make NCAA 13 play in 1080p

No, just directly via HDMI to my Plasma. My MLB the show on PS3 goes directly to 720 while games on my 360 go directly to 1080........specifically 1920x1080/60p

Must be, because I went to the games menu on dash like the OP asked me to and under local capabilities is says 720P..............thats weird because for every 720 game I see that in the top left hand of my screen when I change it to that channel or I start that game. With AA 13 is says 1080

The ps3 does not have dedicated upscaler like the 360 does and it is a good one the 360 has

The xbox settings panel for resolution is not like the ps3 where you check off the settings. On xbox you click on optimal resolution and if your tv is a 1080p tv then it will pick that resolution on an upscale version for any game and I mean any game you play as well as movies and netflix and what not

The ps3 cannot do that for their games since you are forcing a setting that the game does not support or can handle therefore a game like fifa if you force 1080p it will then lower it to 480p

On 360 it will always put it at 1080p if you have a 1080 p

if you dont then it will go to 720p

the ps3 cannot do this since it will force something it cannot do therefore it defaults to lower standards.

that is just the optimal resolution you are seeing on that local capabilities. Games are not made in 1080p format.

On xbox you can upscale all of the games to 1080 p and you should to match the tv resolution.

This cannot be done on ps3

Are you 100% sure about that? I remember the early games for the PS3 having a problem with 1080p because the 360 had the capability in the hardware to upscale but the PS3 was software based.
