Scrambling QBs

What rating or ratings can you change to get the CPU QB to scramble less on pass plays? I thought it might be ball carrier vision, but the QB for Clemson is only rated 30, and he still scrambles quite a bit.

The QBs do it a bit much for my liking, plus it seems to cause a bunch of unwarranted sacks instead of them just throwing the ball away.

Re: Scrambling QBs

If I were to guess, it's probably based on the tendency of the quarterback in question, with a QB with a Scrambler tendency being more likely to tuck and run. If that is the case you'll need to modify many attributes until the tendency is changed.

I reiterate that this is just a guess.

Could try raising awareness to see if they'll throw it instead of run but i would guess you'll probably have to change the tendency.

Re: Scrambling QBs

I play with many other teams and was just playing with Texas A&M and their starting QB would just stand for 1 second on those vertical plays and tuck and run. I had to put the back up in to get a pass down field. But the thing I see these scrambling QBs all have is high speed/acc. Try reducing that. You can't have a slow scrambling QB.

Re: Scrambling QBs

I'm assuming that it's just like in '12 and it's based on their tendency.
Scramblers will tuck and run very quickly.
Balanced guys will tuck and run occasionally.
Pocket passers will rarely tuck and run.
