I agree. I like the system the way it is and the way it has been for a few years now. I'd rather not go back to the system where injuries were incredibly rare.

These threads kill me. Everyone wants realism until its inconvenient I guess.
At least for me - the complaint isnt the number of injuries - it is the distribution. It is unusual for me to end a game with the same HB & QB that started the game....yet I very rarely see any injuries to any other position (sometimes WR getting tackled). I wouldn't mind having a few guys get digned up throughout the game - if they were spread throughout my offense and defense - and not isolated to HB & QB.

It is particularly bad with option teams as your QB takes a beating. Recruit depth - carry 5 QBs and 6 HBs for an option team...

Oh - and sure - bad strings like that have happened IRL -but not consistently like they do in ncaa.

In my UNC dynasty, I lost my 1st string, 2nd string, and 3rd string HBs for 8 weeks, 11 weeks, and 4 weeks respectively in a two game stretch. As much as UNC has ran in the past, it would have no HBs according to NCAA 13.

Injuries are fine, but the distribution of said injuries are too focused on one or two position groups.

How many times in the SEC do you see a team starting a 3rd string running back? I can recall it happening to several teams offhand.

If you need to make the game easier, just turn off injuries like a few guys sugguested. I play Indiana in my dynasty and hope the Wisconsin guy crying gets all his RBs broken.

My first season I went through 3 QBs; recruited 3 freshman, and now my #1 QB went down for 11 weeks after he was off to a fantastic start. Ah well. I'm UMass anyways... not expecting many wins. Went 7-5 my first season, sitting at 4-6 right now in my 2nd year.

in game 10 of year 1 and i've lost a starting WR for 3 games. My backup RB for 3 games, and my starting RB has gotten nicked in 4 out of the 10 games, missing a few quarters. A couple nicks on the defensive side but no major time missed. I'm fine with this.
