Players transferring before the start of week 1 year 1 in offline dynasty?

On the roster file I used (I think an early OS one) Sims was on UVA and listed as a transfer and couldn't be used the first season (one of the guys in my OD has UVA and couldn't play him). So if we is on Bama for the default rosters, then the roster namers moved him. I don't know how to designate someone as a transfer.

Yea Sims doesn't have to sit out a year, but Sims was on UVA default rosters. If you play with UVA in an online ranked game, he is the second string QB for UVA caused I used him when I played with UVA online.

Sims is a transfer and on uvas roster but he did not have to sit out a year because he got a waiver. He was transferring to be close to a sick family member
