Ratings question

What would a normal distribution of overall ratings of players being 90+ in any given season?

Currently I am at start of 3rd year of my offline dynasty and distribution seems really weird.

31 players currently 99 overall
18 players 98 overall
19 players 97 overall
27 players 96 overall
35 players 95 overall
38 players 94 overall
62 players 93 overall
75 players 92 overall
72 players 91 overall
76 players 90 overall

Are the total # of players at each overall rating listed here "realistic"? I would think that the distribution would be different, ie like a bell curve, meaning the number of players per each rating will go up as you lower the rating until you hit a certain point(70 overall rating here) then the number of players will go down. I also think the number of 99 overall players is too high. The dynasty I am running is using rosters found on here that have "good reviews". If every team has 70 players then the percent of players 90+ overall is 5.26%, 453/8610. That seems really high as well.

I think you just need to wait 'til your default roster guys are gone as they were likely rated too high by the roster editors.

Here are the numbers at the end (after bowl season) of my 2020 season (so it'll include in-season progression too):

(# of players)Rating
(2)99
(9)98
(6)97
(7)96
(8)95
(17)94
(33)93
(31)92
(48)91
(53)90

You have about as many 99s as I have guys rated 99-95......
