Went to play now mode (I'm not gonna bother doing this in dynasty or online).
Created a CPB with 1 play in it (smash) so I could play D against the CPU (so no one could say "maybe it's different against another person on the same console) and I knew they'd call a smash play.

Everything else was the same:
  • Called pinch, which is a cover 0 and blitzes 6
  • FS lined across from his guy fine.
  • SS initially lined up in the middle of the field.
  • I manually moved my SS on top of his WR (the guy highlighted in the video)
  • Changed to a different player
  • SS covered the corner route as well as anyone else covers it.

If you control a player pre-snap and move him to another spot on the field then control a different player, the first player will always move back to where he was before. This was coded into the game to combat cheese by some user players. Mainly, some people used to move multiple defensive players into unnatural position where they could put near immediate pressure on the QB. By doing this, EA at least cut down to one (the player being controlled) player that could possibly create a cheese pressure scenario.
Makes playing cover 0 nearly impossible unless you get immediate pressure. Nothing worse than seeing a red line from your defender stretch way out off the screen. See it mostly with my SS, but also with the LB's as well. Almost a guaranteed completion for the CPU.
