Notre Dame doesn't run the same up-tempo offense Coach Kelly ran in Cincinnati. He utilizes the same type of blocking schemes, but a lot more single back sets with the QB under center, coming out of the huddle. Rarely did ND go no huddle.

notre dame does run no huddle just not an up-tempo one... there's a difference between up-tempo and no huddle (teams that DON'T HUDDLE run a no huddle, teams that hike the ball faster are up-tempo) most no huddle teams aren't up-tempo tho

They did NOT run no huddle.. I watched every game and they were in the huddle with the obvious exception of 2 minute drill and late game scenarios.. Go to YouTube and watch any of the full game videos of 2012..

Half way down this article clearly states that they did not use no huddle.. As the season went on and Golson got better, they'd incorporate it in a few drives each half as a change of pace. But majority of the time, they lined up and played smash mouth football

Edit the coaches so they don't run no huddle.
