I'd bet large amounts of money that it is the reason. I'm sure it's similar to the highlights issue. It's not an issue of space. It's simply a fact that the game is coded to only save highlights to an HDD, and if you don't have one (even if you have a 4 GB slim or a 16 GB thumb drive, or a 250 MB cloud, or whatever, all of which have more than enough space) the game can't save them because it's only coded to use an HDD.

I'd bet dollars to donuts that it's the same thing with schedules.

Next season, make the changes using someone's 360 which has an HDD (and save your profile/etc to his HDD) and I'm sure the schedules will save just fine.

Thanks for the advice, disappointing that it wouldn't just save on a regular 360.......oh well.
