I think I'm just going to start a new dynasty with the 2015 rosters and pretend it's NCAA 15.

I'd be more upset if it were a last-minute cancellation. We've known about this for months so really, just another day. I'm still enjoying NCAA 14, and also have dynasties/rosters that make 13, 12 and 11 all viable options, too.

Re: Today, July 7, 2014, would have been Release Date Eve

I thought about how I would have been at a midnight launch. I might have been up later playing a game, digging through the menus, looking for what was new. I would have taken a closer look at the back of the box features EA's marketing had dreamed up. I would be checking for the progress of named rosters. I would have played it a few times without tweaking the sliders to get a sense of the gameplay. Those were all steps I had repeated for several years on two different consoles. NCAA was the reason I changed consoles and kept consoles. I never was satisfied and was disappointed a few times with the way NCAA turned out. But I still bought it, still devoted an hour or so a night for a few months of the year. NCAA Football 14 was the best of the bunch.

After I played this morning, on my day off, I took the time to look at the credits and scrolled through the names. Even though the game wasn't as good as it could have been I appreciate what that crew did. This forum was critical, and I was critical, but this forum also was their strongest community of supporters. This forum will also keep the game alive with further work on rosters and other posts.

Get online while you still can, while the servers are still up, and play. Enjoy NCAA for what it is. Eventually it will fade into memory, like all the other sports games we used to have.

I guess there was a reason I took the day off work.

Pour one for my homie.

I went to Borders on Sunday and bought the Lindy's 2014 College Football preview. After reading it and reading about all of this year's top players and teams, it really made me eager to play NCAA 2015.

Then I realized there is no NCAA 2015.

Them feels brah

I have bought a ncaa football game every year starting with Bill Walsh on genesis! Bill Walsh, college football USA, then ncaa series. It's my number one game I look forward to every year. It's a game I can play year round. It is the only football game I buy. Dynasty and recruiting are my two favorites. I am a recruiting expert! IMO lol and last year me and a friend had an online dynasty going that was a lot of fun. I might spend more time recruiting as I do playing games! Every year I would schedule days of work Wednesday Thursday and Friday so I could have a 5 day weekend and get started learning some new playbooks. Now I have to go buy madden for the first time ever and not looking forward to it.
