After starting 0-4 and eventually 4-5, I beat Illinois and Northwestern before losing at Wisconsin to become Bowl eligible. Because the B1G West sucks, I (Purdue) played Ohio State in the B1G Championship and upset them 40-21. Then upset Georgia 26-7 in the Outback Bowl. Just wanted to share.

#1 Georgia Tech vs. #2 Stanford in the NC.
#3 Oklahoma vs. #4 Alabama in the Fiesta Bowl.
#5 Cincinnati vs. #6 Florida (won NC last year) in the Rose Bowl.
#7 West Virginia vs. #8 UCLA in the Orange Bowl.
#10 Oklahoma State vs. #12 Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl.
#9 USC vs. Iowa State in the Alamo Bowl....somehow.

GT 42, Stanford 28!
Interesting. That seems odd, because USC should have gotten that bid over Notre Dame. My only theory is that somehow Notre Dame is "programmed" to get a bid based on finished ranking. Also, were these rankings the BCS rankings or the coaches poll rankings?

Re: Clean-slated Bowl Bids

In my Coach Mode offline Dynasty I had the 2 1st seasons set as at large for every bowl game. Never had issues. I ended up changing them before the 3rd season though.

I think only 2 teams from a conference can get BCS bowl bids so USC would've been 3 (Stanford and UCLA)

Their ranking is the number that appears on the team name when you're looking at the bowl schedule screen. I'm not sure which one that is, coaches' or BCS.
