Loving the addition of value to strong physical players this year.

Really makes you consider your team balance more. If I'm forced to sell some younger players, I might rebuild with some more veteran players who have matured physically.

Also I'm loving the tactics and instructions this year more. Like the games are so tight and close that if I'm up with 15 minutes left, I'm going in and change tons of team instructions etc.

Started with Aston Villa, left first window on to clear out some dead weight -- already sold Hutton and Agbonlohor with Richards listed as well -- and did not enter a preseason tourney.

Lost my first league match of the season due to some poor finishing, but rebounded with a very solid win in the league cup. Still getting a feel for the squad; I have team sheets for 4-4-2 and 4-3-3, with both set up to sit somewhat deep and attack quickly with longer passes.

Got the academy going with a 5/4* English scout who will focus on developing local talent. I might add another scout at some point to send to other regions, limiting him to one signing per trip. I'd like to see the club regularly develop young English talent rather to fill the ranks.

Brought in LB B. Mason on loan from Watford for some depth behind N. Taylor, who already picked up a knock. Mason is quick, so he might run his way into contention for some game time. I'm using the GTN scouts to identify some potential future signings, but I'm not sure I'll bring anyone else in this window.

We have finally found a our stride in a 4-1-3-2 with 1 CDM, 1 CM, 2CAM & 2 Strikers, while playing with a deep line. Our offense has been entertaining and our defense is playing much better, allowed 1 or fewer goals in 3 of the 5 matches, big improvement.

We were 2 up against Panathinaikos who currently sit third, we allowed that one to slip away, but it shows that we were on the right track almost winning 3 in a row and then following up that tough loss with a win against Frosinone on the road to make it 3 wins in 4. Pescara were sitting 21st in the league and we somehow managed to blow that game at home. I thought a 2-2 would have been a more fair score but whatever, it happens sometimes the ball doesn't bounce your way.

Rui Pedro picked up a broken toe and will miss some time. We filled in his role as hold up stiker with Rivas who has played exceptionally well in that role, even though his finishing could be better. We are playing a 2 striker set up, where the higher striker is playing hold up so the second striker can run off him. Been working well.

Martinez the young Argentine wonder boy with 4 goals and 4 assist in 20 matches, both tops on the team. Mojica, Barco also have 4 assist as well.

We usually play 5 match intervals in between post but this time I played 6 for whatever reason.

We had out most impressive run of the season, 10 points out of 18 a little under 2 points a game. Our defense was great, never giving up more than 2 goals and 1 goal or less in 5 of the 6.

We started it off with a huge point on the road against AEK Athens, by far the best team in the league, which I think let us know we can play with anyone. I changed up a few tactics before the match, having Vitale stay more defensive with Acosta in the midfield. Went a goal down but we didn't waver, we didn't panic, we stuck to our game plan and were able to equalize.

We've set ourself to play in the most important match of our season next game at home against Empoli who sit in the last playoff spot in 8th place and only 3 points ahead. A loss here would really be a blow to our season.

Dragowski is god tier at this level lol

& Parma are dreadful. 19 in the league but for some reason, they re a pain in my side. When they were 21st a few matches ago, they beat us 2-1 in a game we had no business losing. First time we played them 0-0.

If you sim a match and lose here and there, it will keep your players' form ratings down.

We captured 8 points of the possible 15. Palermo really out classes us in the last match but overall still think we're heading in the right direction. We we're 10 points back from the playoffs, now we're 3 points back after 10 matches, with 11 matches to go.

We contained top goal scorer (16) Mokulu to no goals in a 1-0 win over 4th place Cremona. Our tactics have been really solid defensively.

Argentine wonder kid takes over the top spot with 6 goals in 31 apps while Rui Pedro has 5 goals in 22 matches... Mojica has 7 assist in 29 matches, 3rd in the league.

Bangoura replaces Andrade in the best 11 due to his goals. He might remain a super sub but his ability to score as a starter or sub puts him in the best 11.
