Made a short test to access custom tactics. Selected Bayer Munich to play long balls. Unfortunately, no change in gameplay style. No long balls. I hope custom tactics are just disabled on the demo...

This games very boring to me, i just can't get into it.
Looks outdated too. It's same game 3 years running. Little improvement.
Licensing and presentation is all it has going for it.
Defending is a joke. It's a offensive game and goal fest.
Winning Eleven 9 LE or PES 5 is still more fun. Because they are very balanced.

I liked FIFA 12,13 but haven't sense then. EA is milking this title like Madden.
I think EA's best sports game is NHL. Maybe because it's not a cash cow.

Another thing i noticed was the fact that now the custom sliders for cameras work. Sometimes i would choose a camera on 17 and then, the height and zoom sliders wouldn´t really work, but now they do.

The broadcast camera with 0 zoom and a bit above 10 is excellent.

never had this issue on 17.
keep in mind each stadium has different height.

Yes, but i remember choosing some cameras where the height and zoom slider, even when put to extremes, wouldn´t work. Always thought this was a bug or something...

Played as Man City against United, last night. The game looks as pretty as it always does. It still plays waaay too fast, tho. I know it's locked at normal on the demo, so I'll have to wait on the full release and switch to slow to see how much I'll need to drop the speed, acceleration, and pass speed options in the sliders. One thing that stood out to me was the goalkeepers. Both de Gea and Ederson were out there making brilliant saves. One of de Gea's saves was a thing of beauty. I made a great run in the box, a perfect thru pass right to a sweet spot, fired off a one touch shot, and de Gea started his dive a MILLISECOND before the ball touched Aguero's boot. Guessed the direction perfectly. Seriously, I watched that replay like 10 times. There are things that I wish would have been added, like mix and match kit parts at the kit selection screen. I'll have to look into the on-the-fly subs, because once the game was going, I couldn't figure out how to get them into the match. I just really hope that CPU teams play their star players this year and they're not stuck on the bench the whole season if they happen to have a poor match rating after the first game of the year. I also hope we're able to edit players to be CMs instead of just being about to make them CAMs or CDMs this year! Looking forward to the 29th.
