I might look at adding ST as a secondary position, eventually converting him, and selling Lacazette. Could run a 4-2-2-2 with Saka & Willian as LAM/RAM, but a lot depends on what, if any, moves the club makes before October. It's bad when you're making plans before the game is even out!

That’s why I never use Chelsea in CM. I find myself making moves the club would/will make instead of getting lost in my little fantasy land.

But that’s just me

Yeah same I usually try to avoid favorite club teams. All my years of footy gaming I actually never did a career/master league with Arsenal, not once. I always say this will be the year but ending up picking another team haha.

Yeah you throw in their career mode budgets and it’s just too easy for me. It helps that Chelsea has a million senior players too so if you wanted you could sell of the deadweight (Drinkwater, Moses, etc...) and make like 100 mil easy.

Come on guys... This was finally the year I convinced myself to just dive in with Gunners and not waste months waffling on what league/team. And you ruined it!

But yeah, I have those same feelings and never get far with a team I follow in any sport so I generally avoid it. Which is ironic since videogames are a large part of why I'm an Arsenal supporter. From first exposure in FIFA97 to years of meticulously editing in Winning Eleven to get the Invincibles-era teams juuuust right, they were about the only team I used.

My list of potential career mode teams has greatly expanded.

If your gonna choose a English club, go with QPR. They’re in the Championship, play in a beautiful old football grounds. Kits look great.

Rayo has my favorite kits in Europe.

I love me a good sash.

Re: Fifa 21 career mode talk

Thinking about getting FIFA this year, I haven't played it since FIFA 16 I think, but seeing that there are career mode improvements and presentation has always been terrific, I might buy it, it includes free next gen version so that's a plus as well.

I prefer single player/offline modes so I'd spend most of my time playing fifa on the career mode. Not sure who would I start it, but playing with the favorite team shouldn't be a bad idea.
