Trying out ultimate team.

Hi, I have been trying the ultimate team thing.I haven't purchasedof yet andplayed like 6 matches. I have bought like 5 packs and the highest player I ever got is a 69. Most my players are low 60's.

I could only buy the bronze packs (the others are locked). How do you get better players? Better packs? I trying a club tourn my team is a 1 star and everyone onlines ultimates are 5 star teams... no point there really.

I don't know how to use the player boosts either...

Any help would be great.

Oh, and do you think Ultimate team is worth the purchase? I like it because it has a fatasy team aspect my only thing is it only online games, tournaments or exibition matchs? No continued season?

Re: Trying out ultimate team.

hey - as for whether its worth the purchase, check out my blog post ...

http://www.operationsports.com/BlyGi...ife-into-fifa/

you have to play a certain amount of games to unlock the silver and gold packs. I think its six games for the silver packs and then 12 games for the gold packs. After you play that many games you can buy both with coins (2,500 for silver, 5,000 for gold packs).

I would play the computer for the first six games to unlock the silver packs and then start to play online a bit.

the best source for online play early on in the first online tournament - you should play some newer players in it.

Re: Trying out ultimate team.

I think the demo will cut you off right before you have enough games completed to buy a silver pack.

EA has it setup so it will take a good long while to build up a top team ... at least through playing games. Every time you start to get a little savings in your pocket for a silver/gold pack the contracts start expiring and your back to buying copper packs hoping for extensions or replacements. That or you bear down and struggle with the scrubs earning a pittance. It gets frustrating but I'll be damned before I pay money, no matter how little, to buy fake trading cards. That is one DLC trend I have no intention of supporting.

I think it is a good mode but cannot say it adds all that much. It isn't a make or break mode but if you have played out all the other modes in FIFA then this will defiantly give the game some new legs.
