I am having some major problems with a few things that I hope someone can help me with.
1. When my team attacks from the wings my midfielders don't help out so it is just one winger and 2 strikers (I have a 4-4-2 formation)2. I have trouble controlling the midfield since my midfielders are constantly backtracking instead of attacking the ball handler

Does anyone have a fool proof formation and tactical set up???

Make sure that you have your players' attacking mentality and runs set to cater to a more attacking style of play, if that is what you're looking for (more forward runs, no back runs, etc).
