I noticed something stupid on the cover of the box...

Does EA think that the more American flags on a cover, the more likely we are to buy the game? This is weird. Has nothing to do with anything, and I love the game, I just found this really odd. I don't see a reason for it.

I think it just goes by region(i.e North America and Europe) If you notice there is no American or Mexican flags on the the Euro version, while in the NA version there is very little European flags on the cover.

i dont know, makes perfect sense to me. It's the same reasoning as to why a European version of NHL would have a different player on the cover than the North American version.


i really dont see what is so odd about having the cover be region specific with more things from that area on it.

There is a US and Mexican flag on the cover of the Euro game.

I do think EA went a little overboard with the US & Mexican flags also. Yes, I know it's the NA cover blah, blah, blah. They just went with what flags your average American would know. Hell, the "average" American doesn't even know the US flags so all hope is lost when it comes to flags of other countries.

It's an international event and all the flags from each country should be on the cover. That's just my opinion though.

Not fact. So you went around and interviewed 400 million americans regarding country flags? Didn't think so.

Anyway it's just flags...I really don't see the big deal.
