So, I was up 1-0 when my online game lost connection. I go to see my profile on www.easportssoccer.com and it said I lost 0-3.

That can't be correct, right? What's up with that?

The only thing I can think of is that since you lost connection, you forfeit the match. The traditional forfeit score is a 0-3 loss.

Yes, if your end loses connection you forfeit. It's pretty much the only way I win games online. God bless bad connections in foreign countries.

Yup, this default is the same for disconnects in NHL, as well.

Earlier this year i suggested to EA that they have a resume match option so if you get disconnected from the EA servers, you then have around 30 seconds in which you can re-connect to the servers then the match will be resumed instead of you being issued with a defeat and the match gone.
