Just curious when the optimal situation is to use each of the different shot types -- normal, finesse, and LT.

Typically I seem to hold LT for the deeper shots, and finesse with some bend for shorter ones and mid range. Rarely do I simply just shoot without a modifier.

What situations are the best to use the various shot types, and what are the advantages/disadvantages of them??

From what I understand it just slows the ball down so you have more control of it. So if you're running up on the goal, pull LT for the shot so you slow down the ball and control it more.

Lately, I've been trying to build up my pro, so I've been blasting laces shots from the outside. I'll occasionally attempt a finesse shot from outside as well to get those points.

If I'm in the box, it's usually a finesse shot to a corner.
