Online Tips to become a better player

I noticed this the other night where the guy had TWO guys running straight at my ball handler and then not just the user control guy would run me over but both of the guys. Normally the CPU called defender will play contain.

Well I quit the game because it was insane stupid how much my guys were on ground and did not want entire team with injuries before game was over. So I send guy message after game "way to use physics to your advantage and lose the high pressure it is not fun". He then messages me back, "me and my friend were playing just get better".

This is where I realized something I did not know exists. Evidently multiple people can play on same console against a person online. So not only do you have to face one of these idiots at a time but some times TWO! Another stupid thing I hate, mark it to the list.

Last years version would show the number of players playing. If two people were playing you would see "1 guest" below the team at the selection screen. I guess now with since you can't see who you are playing until the game starts, it might be hard to tell.

Yeah, I don't mind ea taking charge of matchmaking but at least give people a start up screen where you immediately know what team, kit, dnf and name/number of opposing gamer.

So far for me online has been a mixed bag that I always see the loosing side of. I usually like to play manual because the games are so much better. Unfortunately searching for manual games is excruciating, often ending in no less than a dozen failed attempts. Even in manual you can meet the high pressure guys but there is comfort knowing passing and shooting is not a given for them.

I've been trying assisted games recently. I do occasionaly run across players that try to play realistic but far more often its people looking to take advantage or exploiting the ai. One shot that has been killing me is the lobbed through ball to an insanely fast striker. Everybody I play seems to have extremely fast teams.

What happens is they pitch the ball over everyone into the open field and then their strikers chases it down for a free look. It often seems like they are offside but must have timed it perfectly. I've tried to play the offside tactic but more often than not I don't get the call and am even more vulnerable.
