Player energy in career mode..

how come my players always have full energy before each match? i'd like to use some of my reserves to add a different feel for the game but when my starting 11 is full of energy, why take them out? If i recall, in FIFA 10 (the last FIFA I played) when your team was on a losing streak the players energy would be lower. Is there a way to fix this or is this how real soccer is?

This isn't baseball where players play every day. Soccer/football players play one match per week. How exhausted do you think your players should be after having six days off?

Players will be fatigued and rotation will be required when you have two matches in a week.

Exactly. Or 3. Or 4 in 10 or 11 days. Happens all the time.

not if you play in the MLS. the most you get is like 2 gms per week a few times a season(less than 5). if i didnt care about keeping my reserves happy and trying to get them to progress, you could easily not have to rotate all season and just play your starting 11 every single game.

Understood. I'm down to my last match in my sixth season. I spent one year at Houston, one at Braga, one at Schalke, and this is my 3rd at Man City. In this season, I have used more than 30 players because of injury and fatigue. Even in MLS, proper half lengths and injury sliders will challenge your depth a bit.
