Cup Questions

Okay so I'm in my 3rd season as West Ham and our 2nd in the Barclays. We finished in 3rd last season. My owners have told me that I should qualify for the European League this year. How do I do that?

I see there are cups listed such as

Champions Cup
European League

What do these cups equal in real life?

Champions Cup = Champions League
European League = Europa League

Not too familiar with Europa League, think it's 5-7 maybe? or 4-6 this year with Chelsea bumping Tottenham.

So in your Career Mode, you're in the CL.

Okay, that's where I was confused cause the Europa League is my goal and I thought it was kind of backwards that they want me to do that since I qualified for a higher one this past year.

Well, with Swansea City I finished 17th in the BPL and this season I went into the qualifying round for the Europa League and now I'm playing through the Group stages against Lazio, FC Groningen and Bordeaux.

That's because you either won or were in the final of the FA Cup the previous year.
