Does a player's form increase when they play well with their international team? Or only with their clubs?

Also, it's weird how players get called up depending on their form, but when you manage an international team you can't look at the player form just their OVR. Thought that was a little off..

From what I can tell, their form isn't what they're called up on at all. It's all OVR based it seems. Sometimes a player won't be called up, but that tends to be during friendlies weeks. I had a player with 92 OVR get called up despite his form being "Terrible" (Conceded a penalty that costed us the CL in extra time. I have no idea what I was thinking..).
