Most realistic difficulty to play on?

Just curious what people think. I've been playing on legendary, but have been playing mostly be a pro career mode so it's tough to tell. I'm mainly trying to avoid cheap CPU advantages in normal play now games if there are any.

Legendary with any of the very well done slider sets on this board. Doesn't get better then that.

Agreed.

Although the computer is ramped up a bit more, I feel that mixed with the sliders on these boards its the best experience you can get in this game.

Realism is in the eye of the beholder, but to get the best out of the game, you gotta play on Legendary.

Since you can use sliders to decrease the difficulty, there's really no reason whatsoever to not play on Legendary so that you get the best out of the AI.

What about dribbling? In my Be a Pro mode the AI seemed a bit too adept at standing tackles and taking the ball away. That could just be my lack of skills though. Is there any cheapness there, or do I just have to step my game up?

Eh, not really. Games often times are cheap on the higher difficulty levels, with unrealistic boosts to the AI, or dumbing down of your own players. That's mainly what I was wondering about.

Sticking with Legendary for now, and getting pretty good results. Players on your own team are a bit too passive and generic feeling, but that seems to cut across all difficulty levels.

Not sure why they programmed the game to expect you to somehow account for players you aren't controlling, beyond the 2nd teammate control which helps only a little. Of course, in Be a Pro mode they also essentially give you too much control by forcing teammate passes when you call for the ball. So uh, yeah.

Agreed. Been loving FIFA for months with these sliders...best FIFA yet, even though it has a lot still that could be improved!
